When the leaves of the English tea Oolong variety begin to give off their distinct scent, the bushels are passed through a fire to hamper the fermentation.
In addition, the English tea Oolong variety is partially oxidized and is a cross between black and green tea in color and taste. So just imagine how the English tea Oolong variety look like and taste like. Is it bitter or musty? I don't think so!
The English tea Oolong variety, for further information, is first imported to England from Taiwan in 1869 by John Dodd.
